Sharon Osbourne's return to The X Factor UK will be short lived, it's been claimed.
Sharon made a rather understated return to the series earlier this month as the auditions kicked off, but it's very much a one-year thing.
According to the Daily Mail, Sharon has made it clear to producers that she won't be signing up for another series.
Sharon, who is on the panel this year alongside old pal Louis Walsh and new regulars Gary Barlow and Nicole Scherzinger, is said to be planning to "stir things up" on this summer's tenth series.
"Sharon’s life is in Los Angeles and she hasn’t been prepared to give up her full-time job as a panellist on chat show The Talk for The X Factor," a source claimed. "Her American network CBS agreed to let her balance both for the next few months, but there’s an understanding it will only be for this year."
The supposed insider told the newspaper: "She felt it was appropriate for her to return for the tenth anniversary and she needed the money, but long-term The X Factor isn’t part of her plans.
"She wants to go in this year, stir things up, cause a lot of trouble and swan off in a blaze of glory."
After this week's try outs in London, the judges will go on to hold the last audition stop this year in Cardiff. This will be followed by the second stage of judges’ arena auditions in July.
The show will return to our screens on ITV in August.
