X Factor boss Simon Cowell is still desperate to get Cheryl Cole back on the panel over in the states, apparently.
The Girls Aloud star admitted she has no plans now that the group are over (sob), so Cheryl's definitely got the time for it.
So far The X Factor USA has seen changes to its panel every series, from Cheryl's original axe half way through the first ever auditions to Britney Spear's leaving this year.
Nicole Scherzinger, Paula Abdul and LA Reid have all also been on the panel and left over the course of just two seasons.
With ratings for the American programme still rather meh, Simon wants Cheryl back after her axing in 2011.
“Simon would love to have Cheryl back. They’re chatting more and more at the moment and he’s hopeful she might be up for coming back," a supposed source told the Daily Mirror today. “She’s still spending a lot of time in the States and wants to move out there so it’d looking more likely to be on the cards.”
However there's been plenty of names linked to the show this year, including Jennifer Love Hewitt and former X Factor UK judge Kelly Rowland.
We'll know for sure who's on the panel later this month, with FOX announcing the line up at their annual advertiser event.
The show will return to screens in the states in September, and air here on ITV2.
