In a rather interesting interview, Will admitted that The X Factor was a "great show" and he'd love to be on the panel.
Speaking to The Sun this weekend, Will explained how his relationship with Simon Cowell has been 'mended' after they fell out over Cheryl Cole's axing from The X Factor in the States.
“When I see Simon now it is all fresh. But with the incident that happened with Cheryl, I was like, ‘Hey Simon, Cheryl asked me to manage her, I have to fight for her, but I hope it doesn’t change how you view me as an artist’," he told the newspaper. “It was just wrong what happened to her and I stuck my neck out to fight for her.
“But since then relationships have been mended. I could have burned myself, but that didn’t happen and hats off to Simon for that.
“It could have ended up bad but it ended up great."
Will told the tabloid that he wouldn't be agains joining The X Factor, and with a new judge needed, it could easily happen this year.
“I mentored with Britney on American X Factor’s judges houses last year even thou I’m on a competing show to Simon’s in the UK. This is a competitive world so it just shows Simon’s character," Will went on “People can paint him to look bad, they can do whatever they want, but he is all right in my book. I have no qualms with Simon as a person.”
Will added: “If I wasn’t doing The Voice, then yeah, I like The X Factor. It’s a great show.”
Right now however Will has The Voice and a half built team to complete...
