XFactor 2013: Rylan Clark teases Xtra Factor role

Rylan Clark (X Factor 2012)

Rylan Clark has teased a potential role on this year's Xtra factor.

The X factor finalist has been tipped to join Caroline Flack on the show this summer, after Olly Murs revealed it was unlikely he would be back.

Speaking to Star magazine, Rylan said: "There will be a lot of changes, it will be interesting.”

Pressed, he teased to the magazine: “Well I’ve heard these rumours. I think Olly and Caroline do an amazing job, and as far as I know they are both staying.

“But of course I’d love to.

“I’ve heard it’s all change on ‘X Factor’ this year, so we’ll see what happens.”

It was reported at the weekend that X Factor boss Simon Cowell had already told Caroline her spot on the show was safe, with Rylan the favourite to join her on the ITV spin-off.

A source told the Daily Mirror: "Getting rid of Caroline and Olly would feel like starting from scratch. Rylan would bring in lots of comedy.”

However bosses are reportedly keen to keep Olly on the show.

A source told the Daily Mail this month: "Olly was so successful on the show and the main reason behind its increased ratings. We are considering ways to make it work for him.”
