Robbie Williams has said he's up for joining the XFactor 2013 judges alongside Take That pal Gary Barlow.
It was reported earlier this month that producers were keen to get both Robbie and Gary on the show this summer, after Tulisa was given the axe.
“This is the dream team. We have been looking at the show and thinking the unthinkable," a source told The Sun newspaper recently.
They added: “Robbie is exactly the right person for the show — but we don’t want to lose Gary to get him. We want them both."
Speaking to BBC London this week, Robbie admitted: "It would be great if Gary was on it and I was on it."
However he added: “The audition dates run through my tour, so I just don’t know if I can do it.”
The news follows claims that X Factor boss Simon Cowell and Gary have now made up after backstage spats last year.
A supposed insider told the Daily Mirror today: "Simon and Gary are in a good place now – and Gary looks a good bet to be back on the show this year."
Another insider added: "ITV, Simon and X Factor execs all met up in the last few weeks. They have come up with a list of judges they want – and Gary is one of them."
Auditions for the new series are open now online at the xfactor.itv.com.
