It's been widely reported that Sharon could be making a triumphant return to the show this year.
Writing on Twitter last summer, Sharon told her thousands of followers: “To everyone who tweeted about @TheXFactor tonight, thank you – I miss you too!
“Tell Simon [Cowell] to take me back for season 10. #XFactor ”
According to The Sun, X Factor boss Simon Cowell is taking his time over who to invite to join this year's show.
One of the newspaper’s sources said: “It is about getting the right chemistry on each panel and the best dynamic.
“Simon’s focus is getting the American X Factor right then he’ll sort out the British show. While Louis and Gary are pretty certain to return, it is still all to play for for the women.
Amongst the names linked to the show as well as Sharon and Mel B are Rita Ora and former judge Cheryl Cole.
A source said: "Mel and Sharon are frontrunners.
"Simon like them both as they're strong characters - and that's what the show needs."
But it's all left poor Tulisa high and dry, and the N-Dubz star isn't happy.
The insider added: "She can't plan anything until Simon says whats going on.
"She fears she didn't focus on her music and put X Factor first, clearing her schedule for this series. She feels exposed and has been in tears."
