Justin Timberlake has become the latest star to snub Simon Cowell's offers of a spot on The XFactor 2013.
With a new album and gigs lined up, it's hardly a surprise.
Although we reckon he'd make an awesome telly talent show judge, Justin insisted he'd never even consider it.
“I honestly could never judge people, I could never do that," he said this week. “I’d feel too bad to tell someone, ‘No,’ and it’s obvious when someone’s not good but I just don’t have the heart to do that.”
Instead, it's a case of music, music, music for the Mirrors singer.
He told Capital FM: “I am excited to be playing back here again. I haven’t had the chance to play many festivals or that type of show, so I’m really excited.”
“I haven’t put the show together yet because we’ve just announced it but we’ll put something together that I think will be fun.”
But it leaves X Factor producers with a problem.
There was a time that most popstars would jump at the chance to judge on the show, but so far Simon's not had much luck, with Cheryl, Justin and Rita Ora all apparently turning down his offers.
It's left bosses reportedly going back to Spice Girl Mel B, despite her having signed up to judge on America's Got Talent later this year.
A source said today: ""Mel did fantastically and proved a big draw on the ratings front.
"She is just what the show needs to liven it up – fresh, bolshy and opinionated – and Simon is a big fan."
