Rylan Clark is more than up for replacing Olly Murs on the Xtra Factor this year.

The Essex performer reckons he's already got the perfect chemistry with Caroline Flack to make it work, although insisted that its all just rumours.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Rylan said: “Definitely [I could be the new Xtra Factor host]. Olly and Caroline are genuine mates and since I’ve been on the show, Caroline and I have become really close.

"We go out together and have become great friends, so we have that chemistry too. I love her to bits and it would be great to work with her.”

However Rylan told Now magazine last week: "As far as I'm aware, no one has left the Xtra Factor and I think Olly and Caroline are doing an amazing job."

He added: "I'm flattered my name has been brought up, but, as far as I'm aware, it's all rumours.

"But obviously it is my dream job and I would love to do it.
