Amelia Lily is to support Girls Aloud on their reunion tour this month, it's been confirmed.
Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle, Kimberley Walsh, Sarah Harding and Nicola Roberts hit the road for the first in almost four years later this week.
The group's TEN: The Greatest Hits tour follows their reunion and new album last which was released year.
This evening it's been revealed that Amelia will be joining the group for all of their gigs across the UK and Ireland throughout this month and March.
Amelia tweeted today: "Ahhhh SO EXCITED TO BE OPENING FOR @GirlsAloud ON THEIR TOURRRR!! Who's coming?! #AmeliaGATour :D"
It's little surprise given the closeness of the two groups, with Amelia having signed to Girls ALoud's label Xenomania after finishing third on The X Factor back in 2011.
Since the show, Amelia has released two singles - You Bring Me Joy and Shut Up - and her debut album is due out later this year.
Girls Aloud kick off their new arena on Thursday in Newcastle, and the rehearsals have been hard going if the girls’ twitter accounts are anything to go by.
A sweaty Cheryl tweeted this week: “To our dancers!! You are killing it. Doing such a great job thank you #appreciationtweet”
And in more of her fabulously ridiculous tweets, Nadine Coyle has been writing online: “Ok,,, so today I officially realized I am going on tour! It hurts.. Basically everywhere. Xxx”
The Irish star later (quite correctly) boasted: “We aren’t the most successful girlband of the 21st century for no reason though! #girlsaloudtentour #watchit&weep #aloudersallday #mygirls x”
