Stars of The X Factor are expected to once again be snubbed at the BRIT Awards this month.
Last year's champ James Arthur and One Direction are both up for gongs, but bookies don't think they stand a chance.
No X Factor act has ever won a BRIT award that was voted for by the panel, and few have even been nominated.
Leona Lewis has famously received six nominations at the UK ceremony, but has failed to ever pick up a single gong.
Having conquered not just America but the World, members of One Direction would fully expect to be named Best Group at the Brits. But William Hill believe that the boys will get beaten by Mumford and Sons who are the 1/2 favourites to win the Best group category.
Adele is 1/3 win best single with ‘Skyfall’ ahead of James, but it is Emeli Sande that is expected to be the biggest winner on the night and she is 1/6 to win Best Album and 1/9 to be named Best Female!
“The betting suggest that One Direction will get mugged by Mumford and Sons, which would perhaps have been inconceivable just a couple of weeks ago!” said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.
