Former X Factor judge Sharon Osbourne has been spotted enjoying a night out with Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh, sparking claims she'll be back on the panel this year.
Sharon, Simon and Louis made up the original X Factor panel between 2004 and 2006, and while Simon's made it clear he's not coming back, Sharon could be.
It was reportedly reported that the flame haired music manager, who had been a judge on America's Got Talent up until last year, will be making a return for the tenth series.
A source said: “The first three series relied solely on genuine British talent and a chemistry between the judges that simply hasn't been there since Sharon left.
“By series three, they had produced an international star with Leona Lewis and the show had real credibility.
“Now it's just a circus freak show with the ringmaster trying to pull the strings on the other side of the Atlantic.”
Bookies also reckon Sharon Osbourne is set to make a big X Factor comeback this year.
She quit the show after clashing with the new judge Dannii Minogue back in 2007.
With Dannii now gone and ratings down, could Sharon be on her way back?
Writing on Twitter last year, Sharon told her thousands of followers: “To everyone who tweeted about @TheXFactor tonight, thank you – I miss you too!
“Tell Simon [Cowell] to take me back for season 10. #XFactor ”
William Hill last month slashed the price of Sharon Osbourne making a return to the X Factor from 8/1 to 5/4, as X Factor fans pile in. Simon Cowell is Evens to return, with Louis 2/7 to take his seat once again!
“The X Factor viewing figures have been going in the wrong direction ever since Simon & Sharon left. Their return could be just the tonic the franchise needs,” said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.
One thing for sure is that Simon won’t be back.
He told us at the Britain’s Got Talent auditions earlier this month: “It’s all to do with timing, it would be impossible to do the English show and American show together.
“If the schedule was different then of course I would come back and do the English show, I miss it.”
