'Global songstress' Leona Lewis has become the latest X Factor star to leave Modest! Management, although this time it didn't end in a law suit.
Modest have had an exclusive contract on all acts who made the live shows since 2006, but they were replaced by Quest Management last year.
However Leona has also now parted ways after six years working together.
Speaking to Music Week, Modest! directors Richard Griffiths and Harry Magee said: "We were very proud to have Leona on the Modest! roster and of everything she has achieved. We wish her all the best in the next phase of her career.”
Leona herself added: "I greatly enjoyed my time working with Modest! and I'm very proud of all the things we achieved together. I would like to thank them for all their hard work and support over the years. They played an important role in my career and I'll always be grateful to them. I'm looking forward to a new chapter in my career."
Modest! have been helping Leona, who sold over 20 million records with the company, find new management in the states.
But the change of direction doesn't come at a great time for Leona, who has been out of the limelight for some time now.
Her latest album hardly set the chart alight, and there's been rumours the once X Factor golden child could soon be dropped to make way for new stars from the show, such as Ella Henderson.
