X Factor 2013 live tour is criticised for being a tour

The X Factor 2013 live tour has been criticised for being a rip off.

James Arthur, Ella Henderson, Jahmene Douglas, Rylan Clark, Christopher Maloney, Union J and District3 are all on this year's tour line up, which started in Manchester last month and concludes in Belfast at the end of February.

The Sun reports that angry parents aren't happy about being charged extortionate amounts for programmes, merchandise and competitions.

“I felt it was too much, given how much we’d already paid for tickets," said one concert goer. “There were lots of young kids and you could see them texting when the offers came up.”

Another told the newspaper: “It was outrageous – especially when it didn’t even seem like much had been spent on the show. Thank goodness the finalists were so good.”

In other words, they're complaining that the X Factor tour is a tour.

Still, at least they didn't have a problem with the £10 hot dogs.

A spokesperson for the X Factor tour pointed out of the obvious, saying that the live concert's Meet And Greet competition was “in no way compulsory”.
