Xtra Factor host Caroline Flack wants Olly Murs to stick with her!
It's been claimed that Olly has quit the ITV2 spin-off, but Caroline is clinging on to the hope that he'll stay.
She said: "He [Olly] hasn’t said he’s not coming back, he said it’s unlikely he’s coming back. I think it depends, he’s got to see how his year’s going to play out,’ she said.
"He might suddenly get a schedule where they say 'you can do weekends' but you know it’s very unlikely that that’s going to happen but fingers crossed we’ll be able to do another series."
Former X Factor star Olly admitted recently it was "unlikely" he would be back, but said that no decision had been confirmed.
He commented last week: “I’ve never said it was definite that I wasn’t going back, just that it was unlikely due to my music.
“I’ve enjoyed The Xtra Factor, it’s been a great part of my career.”
Meanwhile, Caroline is preparing to team up with X Factor's frontman Dermot O'Leary as the pair prepare to host the BAFTAs Red Carpet this year.
She told the Metro newspaper: "I’ve always looked up to Dermot, like for years, ever since he did the Bigger Breakfast and Big Brother’s Little Brother, I’ve always been a big fan and then I end up working with him.’
"I like his work ethic, the way he is with people, I’m really proud to be working alongside him."
