The X Factor 2013 live tour moved to Liverpool this week, and Christopher Maloney celebrated being in his hometown with a tattoo.
Together with Union J's Jaymi Hensley, Chris went to visit a Liverpool Tattoo Studio to update their body art.
And they filmed it for the world to see.
Christopher's first tattoo on his arm involved a mix of X Factor references, including a retro old school microphone, the name of his late grandad James 'Jimmy' O'Brien, the lyrics from The Rose by Bette Midler, and the date of his X Factor audition.
Chris told Liverpool Radio station Juice FM about the body art: "The microphone and the date is from my first audition, live in front of the judges, because obviously that changed my life and I needed something to commemorate that.
"I want my Grandad's name on it because it was the song that was played at his funeral, and the song that I sang at the audition, and then the lyrics to the song that I sang at my first audition."
Meanwhile Union J's Josh took the opportunity to announce that the group were planning their own tour at the end of the year.
The boys, signed to RCA Records, tweeted: "OHHHH AND JUST TO LET EVERYONE KNOW....we are doing a Union J big tour at the end of the year 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 Josh x."
