X Factor 2013: Rylan Clark to replace Olly Murs on Xtra Factor?

Rylan Clark

Rylan Clark is apparently being lined up to replace Olly Murs on the Xtra Factor this year.

We told yesterday how Olly Murs has quit the Xtra Factor after two years hosting alongside Caroline Flack.

Caroline will continue hosting the ITV2 spin-off show, with producers already considering a co-host to replace Olly with.

And apparently it could be Rylan, fresh from his stint in the Celebrity Big Brother house and the X Factor tour.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: “Rylan was a big character this year and has already proved he’s a natural TV presenter while filling in for Richard Arnold on Daybreak.”

And Rylan was quick to say he'd be up for the role.

He said: "Every series needs a bit of Rylan style. It’s the dream job, especially coming from the show.”

“Not sounding big-headed but if you talk about X Factor from last year there’s three whose name you will bring up and I’d like to think I would be one of them.”

And the Essex singer joked he already had a close relationship with Caroline, revealing: “After the final I woke up in her bed, so that says a lot!”
