Union J have become the third of this year's X Factor 2012 finalists to be signed, it's been confirmed.
The group announced at the weekend that they had officially signed a record contract with Sony Music after finishing fourth on the competition earlier this month.
The boys - JJ, Josh, Jaymi and (J)George - were formed at bootcamp from trio Triple J and soloist George Shelley.
Performing at a gig in Wales, the group confirmed they had been signed by Sony Music.
Speaking at the PA at Pulse Cardiff, the boys announced to their fans they would be bringing an album out next year following the X Factor tour.
The group are the third of this year's acts to be officially signed, following winner James Arthur (obviously) and Ella Henderson, who have also both been signed to Sony's labels.
However it's not yet clear if any of the trio have actually been picked up by Simon Cowell's Syco brand or another label within the huge company.
Speaking about her debut album at the weekend, Ella said: “Hopefully this time next year I’ll show people why I’m here.”
She continued: “I’m so excited to go into the studio and do what I’ve always wanted to do.
“I’ve written stuff already but I can’t wait to write new stuff. I’ve not written all the way through the period I was on The X Factor and it unlocked so many emotions I’ve never experienced before, it’s going to be very exciting.”
