Cheryl Cole has denied reports saying she's returning to The X Factor UK next year.
It was reported last week that Simon Cowell wanted Cheryl and Sharon Osbourne both back on the show's judging panel next year, for what will be its tenth and possibly last series.
Cheryl even met with Simon at his LA mansion apparently to discuss plans, but it seems like there pair didn't come much to an agreement.
Speaking on the Graham Norton show with her Girls Aloud bandmates, Cheryl said of a possible X Factor return: "It's a definite 'no'"
Sources previously suggested Simon had invited Cheryl to 'name her price' to get her back on the series, after falling ratings this year.
“He knows what a draw Cheryl is to viewers- he thinks they would be back in their droves – so he is lining up an audacious offer. He’s basically said: ‘name your price’,” a source revealed.
Cheryl quit the series back in 2010 to judge on the American show, but was axed after attending only four auditions.
The source added: “He knows Cheryl won’t be cheap but more importantly he needs to offer her the right role – she has resisted going back before.
“He doesn’t expect it to be easy, but Simon likes a challenge.”
