X Factor's Jahmene Douglas is eying up cracking the USA already, having met with record label bosses this week.
The singer finished runner up on the show on Sunday and is already looking to get signed.
Jahmene tweeted his thousands of fans yesterday that he was in meetings with RCA Records, wh signed last year's runner up Marcus Collins.
Jahmene tweeted: “Having a meeting with the boss of RCA records today 🙂 woo !! #goodtimes”
It sounds as though Jahmene has big plans, with insiders claiming he hopes to crack the US.
The 21-year-old previously suggested his soul music would be better suited to the American market, but having finished as runner up on The X Factor it seems that he's just as popular here!
One source said: "Jahmene is excited at the prospect of the US, but he's aware it's such a huge jump and it's completely different audience to impress. He knows he has to toughen up."
The insider continued: "Jahmene's tough upbringing, with an abusive father, left him with low self-esteem and it's raised worry whether h could handle the us so soon.
"But he has grown so much as an artist and wants to push himself to the next level."
It's been claimed that as well as Jahmene, Union J and Ella Henderson also have record deals waiting for them.
Right now however any albums from any of the finalists - including winner James Arthur - are some way off.
Instead, the finalists will be focusing on the upcoming live tour in the new year.
