X Factor's Christopher Maloney has been tipped to release an album next year.
Chris finished third in the contest on Saturday night, and voting stats have revealed that Chris topped the public vote seven of the nine weeks he was in the show.
Despite all negative press, which has only continued since his exit, bosses are confident a record from the singer could sell.
Although, it'll just be an album o covers released in time for Mother's Day next spring.
An insider told The Sun newspaper this morning: “Chris has shown how popular he is by winning the vote on the first seven shows.
“If Cowell doesn’t give him an album deal then someone else will — and if you targeted an album of covers around Mothers’ Day then it could sell.”
Meanwhile, Chris is set to be cut from the live tour potentially costing him up to £100,000.
Producers fear that keeping Chris on the line up could cause arguments, and the remaining acts are campaigning for Kye to join the show.
A source said: “The other contestants have made no bones about the fact Kye was one of their best friends on the show and they would love him to tour.
“Nobody got on with Chris and after his outburst against Carolynne on Sunday, everyone is furious with him.
“They can’t bear the thought of having to tour with Chris while Kye misses out.”
