Simon Cowell apparently wants to move back to the UK and judge our series!
It was reported this month that Simon had ruled out a return to the UK show after agreeing to a third series in the US, but it seems like the music mogul is regretting his choice.
The US show has been having problems like the UK one, with falling ratings and losing out to rival series The Voice.
"Simon says he has had enough. It's been pretty awful year and he thins he made a mistake moving to America," says a source. "He worries a lot about the perception of his shows, and with audiences only averaging 8 million, when he thought it would be nearer 25 million, he feels foolish.
"He just wants to come home to the UK now, where he belongs"
Simon is also keen to get the leading UK show back on track, with sources claiming he was worried after the "wrong people" were eliminated in the last series.
The source added to Star magazine: "This has been the worst series ever and Simon wants to move back to the U. He worries about the show and there is a lot for him a lot to worry about at the moment.
"The wrong people are going and he finds it very frustrating. He doesn't want the whole thing to fall apart."
Simon's close pal Sinitta however has insisted that he's set to stay in the States.
"As far as I know it isn’t true because he is going to carry on with the American show, X Factor USA," she said. "I think that they managed to do a pretty good job without Simon, but for me he is X Factor, there is just something about him that is so watchable."
"I do miss Simon, the show is still working without him and creating superstars but I just think it is more fun with Simon. I just miss my Simey!"
