James Arthur's X Factor winner single Impossible is set to the top the charts on Sunday.
The song was released after James won The X Factor last night, and has shot straight to number one in the iTunes download charts.
The track has overtaken the new release from Will.i.am, featuring Britney Spears, which was holding the top spot before last night's final.
But while he might be the newly crowned King of X Factor, it looks like James Arthur won't win the race to the festive top spot as he's the current second favourite at 3/1, with the Hillsborough Charity Single odds-on at 1/3 to reach number one.
James is quoted at just 2/1 to bag a number one single next year and it's a 4/1 chance his album follows suit. Runner up Jahmene is a 6/1 shot to have a single topping the charts in 2013 as well.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: "James's performances this weekend haven't left us feeling good as he's cost us a fortune. Although the odds suggest he'll miss out on the Xmas No.1 we're sure he'll get his hands on the top spot next year."
Meanwhile, Shontelle's original version of the song Impossible is back in the charts at number 12.
The song had originally peaked at Number 9 in the UK back in 2010, and 11 in the States when it was first released.
Last night's final also saw performances from One Direction, with their new song Kiss You at 15 in the charts, and Rihanna, who is at 18 with Stay.
In very bad news for Tulisa, her single Sight Of You is down at 79, having spent just one week in the Top 40.
