Jahmene Douglas’ X Factor winner's single will be Let it Be by the Beatles.
With Christopher Maloney finishing in third place on last night's XFactor 2012 results, it's left James Arthur and Jahmene to go head to head on tonight's final.
Tonight will see the pair both performing their potential winner's singles on the show as they compete for votes.
This year both finalists have again recorded different tracks, and Jahmene's Beatles selection is rather apt. It's certainly a good choice for the soul singer and we can already imagine how it will sound when its performed tonight.
If Jahmene wins the song will be released right away to download, but can it get to number one?
This year the winner's single is for charity, which can certainly only help.
Syco will donate 100% of its profits from the sale of each CD single and download to Together for Short Lives (Registered Charity No: 1144022). This is expected to be at least £1 for each CD and 20p for each download.
Simon Cowell, who has worked closely with Together For Short Lives for many years, said: “Together for Short Lives is such an inspiring and important charity for so many kids and their families who really need help and support.
“These hospices are really happy and positive places and are a complete lifeline for so many families. Having worked with this charity for many years I have been able to see first hand how they have impacted so many lives, and I’m delighted that The X Factor’s winner single sales will go directly to helping them.”
