Christopher Maloney has said his song with mentor Gary Barlow on tonight's XFactor 2012 final will be a special moment for him.
This evening's penultimate live X Factor show will see the trio of finalists performing both a new song and a duet with their mentors to more than 10,000 people at Manchester Central arena.
The show will conclude with one of the tree being voted out in third place, leaving the remaining two acts to go on to fight it out head to head tomorrow night.
The pressure is on and Chris admitted: "I'm a little bit nervous, the arena is absolutely amazing, it's huge, it's scary. The last time I ever sang in front of so many people was the echo arena at my audition, but that was only 6 or 7 thousand."
The Liverpudlian singer teased: "Dueting with Gary is my dream come true and fingers crossed it'll be all right on the night.
"The song I'm going to be singing with Gary is going to special, you're going to have to wait and see."
Reflecting on his time on the show, Chris added: "This has been my life for ten months, it's been an amazing experience for me, some days have been hard but there's been more good things than bad.
"I've learned a lot about me as a person and how strong I've had to be it's been emotional."
The X Factor 2012 continues this weekend with the live final in Manchester.
Chris Maloney, Jahmene Douglas and James Arthur will be battling it out to be crowned winner, while there will be performances from One Direction, Kelly Clarkson, Rita Ora, Kylie Minogue, Rhianna and Emeli Sande.
