X Factor 2012: Caroline Flack says booing is 'all panto'

Caroline Flack

Caroline Flack reckons that Christopher Maloney is this year's X Factor panto villain.

In comments that seem more suited when talking about Big Brother than the X Factor, Caroline claimed that the booing in the studio wasn't harmful but just panto.

She said: "What's strange about the whole Chris Maloney situation is that I've never known so many people to boo (and they're pretty loud too) and yet I don't know anyone who doesn't really like him."

We reckon Caroline needs to look no further than the judges desk to find a few...

Caroline continued:"He's been getting the votes, but getting a really bad reaction from the audience at the same time. I can't work it out. It can't be nice for his nan and family in the studio hearing the heckling, though.

"I always try to say to the audience don't boo, it's all a bit of panto. People like to have a villain. But with Chris, he's a different kind of villain.

"He's a popular villain, because people are still voting for him."
