X Factor Simon Cowell has told Cheryl Cole to name her price to get her back onto the show nextyear.
It's been widely reported that the current panel will be refreshed, with Gary Barlow, Tulisa and even Louis Walsh at risk.
Only Nicole Scherzinger is seemingly safe, although she confessed she wouldn't want to stay if Simon came back!
Fortunately for Nicole, Simon's already ruled out an X Factor return, but is still planning a big shake up of the panel.
Gary admitted recently he probably wouldn't be back, while Tulisa's poor year isn't exactly going to be persuading show bosses to keep her.
A number of names have been linked to the show over the past month, with former X Factor judges Sharon Osbourne and Cheryl Cole both rumoured to be returning.
Last week saw Cheryl meet Simon in his LA mansion for apparent talks to get her back onto the series.
"He knows what a draw Cheryl is to viewers- he thinks they would be back in their droves - so he is lining up an audacious offer. He's basically said: 'name your price'," a source revealed.
Cheryl quit the series back in 2010 to judge on the American show, but was axed after attending only four auditions.
The Girls Aloud star has since been very vocal about her "frenemies" relationship with Simon, but has never completely ruled out a return.
The source added: "He knows Cheryl won't be cheap but more importantly he needs to offer her the right role - she has resisted going back before.
"He doesn't expect it to be easy, but Simon likes a challenge."
