XFactor 2012 hopeful James Arthur has hit back at claims he's partying too much.
This weekend will see James and his fellow finalists sing twice again in a bid to make the final, and with no sing off, it'll be down to the public voe alone.
The 24-year-old has been seen out partying more than once recently, and pictured snogging quite a few girls!
But James, who previously confessed to being overwhelmed by the female attention, insists he's still focused.
He told the Daily Mirror: “I've been working really hard and doing constant rehearsals and things.
“We went to a comedy Gala and then I went for a drink with Union J for literally an hour. I wasn't even drunk to be fair.
“It is frustrating if people do think I am constantly out partying but I try not to take any notice of it.
“As long as I perform well and put the work in that is what matters.
“We are in a bubble here and under pressure so sometimes we need a release.”
James collapsed back in October after only the second live show, and explained that his exhaustion had led him to make sure he wouldn't push himself too far either personally and professionally.
Speaking at Talk Talk's 'secret' X Factor gig, James said: “It seems like I have gone from strength to strength since then.
“I think I was trying to take in too much advice and taking too much on.
“I got overloaded and it got too intense.
“Now I trust my own judgement again and stayed true to myself.”
The X Factor 2012 live shows continue tonight on ITV1 and ITV1HD with the final four acts singing songs that they hope will get them into the final.
On Sunday's results show, one more act get the axe and there will be performances from Pink and Tulisa.
