Christopher Maloney's nan has hit out at the X Factor 2012 judges for bullying the cruise ship singer!
Nan Pat has been vocal in her support for Chris since his first audition, and Chris has hardly been shy about speaking about her either.
Hitting back at the harsh comments Chris has continued to receive from the panel, Pat said today: “Those comments, they might as well say them to me – they’re cutting me in two even worse.
“It’s a tactic, I think. It’s one way of swaying the votes.
“It’s like bullying. Nobody else on the show gets those comments.”
She added: “I’m behind Christopher all the way but it’s killing me doing it.”
Speaking to the Daily Mirror, Pat complained that Louis Walsh in particular was unfair for his comments last week after Chris' performance of Abba's Fernando.
Irish music mogul Louis and fellow judge Tulisa Contostavlos both moaned about the production, which saw Chris surrounded by male topless dancers.
She said: “I could cry sometimes. Even when they do say he has sung well they criticise something else, like the dancers behind them last week.
"He didn’t pick the dancers.”
And Pat claimed she even confronted Louis backstage after the live show about the comments.
“I asked Louis Walsh afterwards, I said, ‘Why, Louis?'," she told the newspaper. “I just looked at him and said, ‘A smile costs nothing you know, Louis’.
"And he just said, ‘It’s a show, it’s just entertainment. It’s a Saturday night TV show and that’s what the public want to hear’.
"I thought it was a singing competition.”
The X Factor 2012 live shows continue tonight on ITV1 and ITV1HD with the final four acts singing songs that they hope will get them into the final.
On Sunday's results show, one more act get the axe and there will be performances from Pink and Tulisa.
