Gary Barlow has claimed his duet with Christopher Maloney tonight will be a showstopper.
This evening's penultimate live X Factor show will see the trio of finalists performing both a new song and a duet with their mentors to more than 10,000 people at Manchester Central arena.
The show will conclude with one of the tree being voted out in third place, leaving the remaining two acts to go on to fight it out head to head tomorrow night.
Gary and Chris are expected to perform a Take That number together on this evening's show.
He said: "I can’t wait to duet with him on Saturday - we’re going all out with an orchestra. The bigger, the better! Mark my words, it’ll be a show-stopper!"
Reflecting back on the series, Gary continued: "The X Factor is much more fun this year. There has been shedloads of drama! Last year was a learning curve for me.
"This year, I’ve been less nervous and I’m taking things in my stride. I toured during last year’s show. In hindsight, I took on too much and was knackered the whole time."
And he added: "My mum and all her neighbours are voting for Chris."
The X Factor 2012 continues this weekend with the live final in Manchester.
Chris Maloney, Jahmene Douglas and James Arthur will be battling it out to be crowned winner, while there will be performances from One Direction, Kelly Clarkson, Rita Ora, Kylie Minogue, Rhianna and Emeli Sande.
