Top stars are snubbing The X Factor 2012 contestant Christopher Maloney by refusing to sing with him in the show's final, it is claimed.
According to The Daily Star, Maloney's 'cheesy' performances are putting off many celebs, with bosses struggling to book an act for the duet.
The 34-year-old's mentor Gary Barlow has now apparently been lined up as a 'last resort' after an offer from Loose Women panellist and fellow former cruise ship singer Jane MacDonald was turned down.
Finalists traditionally take to the stage alongside big names at the end of the series, with previous guests including the likes of Rihanna, Beyoncé, Michael Bublé and Christina Aguilera.
However, last year's run saw the top three collaborate with their respective mentors - Marcus Collins with Barlow, Amelia Lily with Kelly Rowland, and Little Mix with Tulisa.
One more act will be eliminated from the competition this Sunday before the final takes place at Manchester Central next weekend.
