Axed X Factor 2012 hopeful Rylan Clark has hit back at the haters one last time.
Louis Walsh, Tulisa and Gary Barlow all sent Rylan home with only Rylan's mentor Nicole Scherzinger saving him.
Speaking to DigitalSpy after his exit, Rylan said in a message to his detractors: "I'd say thank you for the column inches, because you've set me up for life, so cheers for that babe."
The Essex performer also insisted that he and Gary left on a good note, despite their rows throughout the live shows.
Rylan told the website: "Me and Gary get on so well offstage and he's a really, really great guy and I've got a lot of respect for him.
"I'm just glad I went out on a high and he was truthful about his loving feelings for me.:
He added: "[The rows are] all part of the fun of the show and at the end of the day Gary is doing his job and I was doing mine. It's been an absolute pleasure to work with the guy and hopefully I'll get to work with him in the future."
And on mentor Nicole, Rylan claimed he saved the show for her!
"I think I brought that fun side out in Nic that everyone needed to see," he suggested. "I think at Boot Camp everyone was a bit like, 'Is she gonna do well at this, is it gonna be a Kelly Rowland sitch?' But I think me being there gave her to jump up on the judges' table... I hope to God she comes back next year."
The X Factor 2012 continues this weekend on ITV1 and ITV1HD with the final four acts singing songs that they hope will get them into the final.
On Sunday's results show, one more act get the axe and there will be performances from Pink and Tulisa.
