X Factor 2012's Rylan Clark has been tipped to get signed and release a number one single.
But Rylan is more likely to endorse fake tan than bag this year's Christmas number one according to Ladbrokes.
Rylan became the latest singer to leave the competition in yesterday evening's XFactor 2012 results after he fell into the bottom two with Union J.
Louis Walsh, Tulisa and Gary Barlow all sent Rylan home with only Rylan's mentor Nicole Scherzinger saving him.
After his long overdue elimination from X Factor the Essex star is quoted as a rank outsider at 500/1 to take the festive top spot, or there's a much shorter chance at 10/1 that his new career as a celebrity sees him officially endorse a fake tan lotion.
And should Rylan embark upon a career as a solo artist he's quoted at 50/1 to win next year's Eurovision Song Contest, and it's a 14/1 chance he notches up a number one single.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: "For a while we thought Rylan had more lives than a cat.
"Thankfully for the nation the odds suggest if he does continue as a pop star he won't be storming up the charts any time soon."
Meanwhile, the bookies make Jahmene Douglas the favourite to win the show in next month's final.
Just four acts remain in the competition and it's closer than ever, with Jahmene, James Arthur and Christopher Maloney all fighting for the title.
The same can't be said for Union J however, who are favourites to leave next weekend after being saved by the judges for a third time.
