X Factor judge Louis Walsh is confident that Union J can still win the show.
Rylan Clark became the latest singer to leave the competition in yesterday evening's X Factor 2012 results after he fell into the bottom two with Union J.
Louis Walsh, Tulisa and Gary Barlow all sent Rylan home with only Rylan's mentor Nicole Scherzinger saving him.
It was the third time in the bottom two for Union J, but a conifdent Louis reckons the foursome can still win.
"hey can make the final, theres no rules i this wo, after ella aythin if they get neough votes," he said. "they're in the final four. you dont have to win the show to be a star."
Speaking on the Xtra Factor, Louis also defended making Jaymi and Josh the lead singers of the groups.
He told Xtra Factor's Caroline Flack and Olly Murs this evening: "every band has one or two lead singers, in westlife it was mark and haine, they all sing but jaymi and josh are very strong singers, they're the fab four.
Also speaking on the Xtra Factor, Union J said they wre hoping that being in the bottom two would give them the fire to come back fighting and make the final.
The boys, who confessed they weren't shocked to be in the sing off again, said: i think its going to give us the fire to go allt he way, weve always come backed stronger i think this i sthe perf time if there is a perf time to be in the bootom two
