XFactor 2012 judge Nicole Scherzinger has said that Rylan Clark will always be the stand out act of this year's series.
Rylan became the latest singer to leave the competition in this evening's XFactor 2012 results after he fell into the bottom two with Union J.
Louis Walsh, Tulisa and Gary Barlow all sent Rylan home with only Rylan's mentor Nicole saving him.
Speaking after Rylan's exit on the Xtra Factor, Nicole said: "We had a right old laugh, we had a good run and and I think people will always remember Rylan. I'll miss the fun, he was the shamaze balls of the show. His energy, people don't know him backstage, he really is the glue to our family.
"He's really special and just went out with such class tonight."
Even Gary admitted: "He's been brilliant,we've had some fun, we're a bit of a double act."
Discussing his exit on Xtra Factor, Rylan said: "I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders, I feel like I've been just let out of prison.
"I'm going to miss Gary with all my heart, he's like the uncle you never wanted!
"Thank you so much to everyone who voted and Nicole, what can I say? If it weren't for her... this woman has changed my life."
The X Factor 2012 continues this weekend on ITV1 and ITV1HD with Sunday's results show, one more act get the axe, and there will be performances from Pink and Tulisa.
