Rylan Clark has said he'll miss Gary Barlow after being booted out of The X Factor tonight.
Rylan Clark became the latest singer to leave the competition in this evening's XFactor 2012 results after he fell into the bottom two with Union J.
Louis Walsh, Tulisa and Gary Barlow all sent Rylan home with only Rylan's mentor Nicole Scherzinger saving him.
Speaking after his exit, Rylan told Dermot O'Leary: "It just felt so right. I've had seven bonus weeks in this competition.
"I want to say a thanks to all the runners, every one who voted and of course Nicole for putting me through."
Asked about his highlight, Rylan said: "There was one thing that stood out for me and that was the last episode of judges houses, when it went out on air.
“We were all living in the hotel at the time and at the end of that show they played our ‘Read All About It’ video and the second it finished we all just ran into the corridor and started crying and cuddling
"It was the highlight of the year for me."
Discussing his exit on Xtra Factor, Rylan added: "I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders, I feel like I've been just let out of prison.
"I'm going to miss Gary with all my heart, he's like the uncle you never wanted!
"Thank you so much to everyone who voted and Nicole, what can I say? If it weren't for her... this woman has changed my life."
The X Factor 2012 continues next Saturday and Sunday on ITV1 and ITV1HD.
