Well after the huge shock exit of Ella Henderson, we have learned one thing with the X Factor 2012..anything can happen.
This week we are treated to the themes of Abba and Motown. So, will there be a 'super trouper' or will someone be wearing 'the tears of a clown'. Oh, and it's two songs each. Oh goody.
Rylan got the show off to an energetic, bouncy start and, 'Mama Mia' Gary Barlow was even complimentary. Wow. Love or hate him Rylan is memorable, whether that's for the right reasons is up to you at home.
Giving our remaining band, Union J some credit, they are still in the competition and at times their harmonies are world class. I just don't see where they will fit in the current market. The second song from them was another great showing from these four lads, but as we have seen from the last few weeks, being the stand out performers usually mean you are on the way home. Hope not, they deserve another week after this.
If ever there was a week for Jahmene to shine, this was it. Great vocal, top guy, but, it was, again a bit boring. I think I am starting to repeat myself!! Just in case we had problems with his name, the producers needed to put Jahmene's name in big lights for his second song. He did a fantastic job on one of my all time favourite tracks
All rounder James Arthur bounced back after last weeks shock appearance in the bottom two. No 'SOS' needed this week mate. One of the top ones I feel this week. His second song was one of the vocals of the series, this guy must get to the final or there is something totally wrong with the UK public.
I am currently deciding whether to get onto the Christopher bandwagon? He either does genuinely have a mountain of fans, topping the voting every week and this is the gap in the market he can fill or it's all a cruel joke. Every time I watch him however, I feel like I am back in the eighties. Happy childhood dreams......the hair, the clothes, the music......I still have all three
