X Factor stars Union J reckon they have it takes to win the show.
Rylan Clark became the latest singer to leave the competition in this evening's XFactor 2012 results after he fell into the bottom two with Union J.
Louis Walsh, Tulisa and Gary Barlow all sent Rylan home with only Rylan's mentor Nicole Scherzinger saving him.
Despite now being in the sing off three times, Union J still think they can win the show in next month's final.
Jaymi said: “The aim of this game is to win it and that’s it and that’s what we want to do. I don’t think there’s anything stopping us from getting to the final because James and Ella were in the bottom two and we weren’t.
“So to be above them – and yes, people might have thought they were safe – but we’re doing something right. We want to fight for this. And based on how much we want it and how hard we work, I don’t see why we can’t get to the final.”
Speaking to The Sun at the weekend, the boys gushed about their mentor Louis Walsh, who George Shelley branded the fifth member of the group.
Josh said: “We love Louis to bits – he’s the best mentor we could have asked for.”
And Jaymi added: “We love him, genuinely, and we’ve bonded so much.
“He said he hasn’t believed in an act so much since JLS – and that to us is incredible.
The X Factor 2012 continues this weekend on ITV1 and ITV1HD with Sunday's results show, one more act get the axe, and there will be performances from Pink and Tulisa.
