James Arthur has admitted he's worried about being in the X Factor bottom two again tonight.
Last week saw James avoid the axe after being in a shock sing off alongside fellow favourite Ella Henderson.
With the judges' votes tied, it was a nervous wait as host Dermot O'Leary revealed James had received more public support and would be staying.
Despite some of his best performances so far last night, with a cover of Abba's SOS and Marvin Gaye's Let's Get It On, James confessed he fears another sing off could loom.
"I really enjoyed it, it was nice to have some fun with the song," James said of his performances. "I liked the Let's Get It On because it was something different."
However he admitted: "I am worried [about being in the bottom two], after last week and seeing Ella in the bottom two with me I don't feel safe at all, it could be anyone.
"If people want to vote for me they can vote for me, I think I'm versatile and I would want to see that if I was watching the show."
Fellow boy category contender Jahmene Douglas has yet to be in the bottom two, but revealed he always prepares himself for it.
He told Xtra Factor hosts Caroline Flack and Olly Murs: "I think every week you imagine yourself there, you have to picture yourself there not to freak out [if it does happen]."
