James Arthur has said he's blessed to still be in The X Factor 2012 after being in the bottom two last weekend.
Ella Henderson became the latest singer to leave the competition in this evening's shocking XFactor 2012 results after she fell into the bottom two with James.
The judges couldn't split the pair and sent the decision to deadlock, with Ella leaving having received the fewest public votes.
Speaking at the launch of Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park this week, James admitted he was still struggling to adjust to his new celebrity lifestyle.
He said: "I still struggle with the photo thing to be honest, when people want photos, but I've always had that.
"But I do feel really blessed, it's been an amazing journey so far. I'm really appreciative of everything that's happened."
Chatting at the event to BANG! Showbiz, James admitted that being in the sing off against Ella still hadn't completely sunk in.
He explained: "It hasn't really sunk in, at some point I expected to be in the bottom two, but never did I think I'd be against someone like Ella.
"She should've been in the final - I hate the fact that it's me that went through at the expense of Ella. But I'm obviously encouraged by the fact that I got the public vote.
"I think it should have been her out of the bottom two - it should have been me and someone else."
The X Factor 2012 continues tonight on ITV1 and ITV1HD, with the final five acts sing two tracks each with Abba and Motown themes.
Sunday's results show will see one more act get the axe, and there will be performances from Rhianna and Bruno Mars.
