X Factor has given James Arthur confidence, his sister has revealed.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror, James' sibling Charlotte explained how James' self esteem has been boosted with each week he's made it through to the final.
And all those female fans aren't hurting either!
She said: "The family can see that James is so, so happy now.
"He never used to think he was attractive or that he looked like a rock star.
"But now he has lots of female fans, and he has grown in confidence so much, it is lovely to see."
The weekend however saw James nearly eliminated from the competition after he was in the bottom two alongside Ella Henderson.
"We were all so shocked that both James and Ella were in the bottom two, I thought they would go straight to the finals," Charlotte confessed.
The 17-year-old suggested: "The only thing I can think is that people believe he is safe and so aren't bothering to vote.
"I spoke to James and he was gutted as he have been very close to Ella. He was gutted that she went home although really, really relieved that he got through."
Charlotte added: 'James gets along with the other contestants really well and that's why he gets sad when people are leaving every week.
"He was especially close to Jade, District3 and Ella."
The X Factor 2012 continues this Saturday on ITV1 and ITV1HD, with the final five acts sing two tracks each with Abba and Motown themes.
Sunday's results show will see one more act get the axe, and there will be performances from Rhianna and Bruno Mars.
