X Factor's James Arthur has admitted he hated being saved over Ella Henderson at the weekend.
Ella became the latest singer to leave the competition in Sunday evening's shocking XFactor 2012 results after she fell into the bottom two with James.
The judges couldn't split the pair and sent the decision to deadlock, with Ella leaving having received the fewest public votes.
Speaking after Sunday's show, James admitted it was a tough process to go through.
"It hasn't really sunk in, at some point I expected to be in the bottom two, but never did I think I'd be against someone like Ella," he told BANG Showbiz.
"She should've been in the final - I hate the fact that it's me that went through at the expense of Ella. But I'm obviously encouraged by the fact that I got the public vote.
"I think it should have been her out of the bottom two - it should have been me and someone else."
He added: "She's really strong, she was obviously disappointed but she knows she's going to have a great future because she's got a million people around her, her family are really supportive and she's brilliantly talented so I have no worries about her."
The X Factor 2012 continues this Saturday on ITV1 and ITV1HD, with the final five acts sing two tracks each with Abba and Motown themes.
Sunday's results show will see one more act get the axe, and there will be performances from Rhianna and Bruno Mars.
