X Factor judge Gary Barlow has hit out at Rylan Clark, saying he wants him out of the competition.
While Gary and Rylan's banter is usually quite playful, Gary seemed pretty angry with the Essex performer this week.
It follows the shock elimination of Ella Henderson at the weekend, who was in the bottom two with fellow favourite James Arthur.
Gary said: “I’m serious. What are we going to do about Rylan?
Speaking at a gig in aid for Mencap on Tuesday, Gary continued: “I might have to be honest on Saturday night and go: ‘Rylan, I thought that was absolute s****’.”
Rylan however i making his own plans, and insisted that Gary secretly loves their banter and his performances.
Speaking to the Metro, Rylan also revealed he hoped to perform alongside Gary in the final!
Rylan said: “I’ve spoken to Gary. Gary loved it, he's banter Barlow, I love Gary.
"He's the sort of person that if he dishes it out he's got to expect it back and he totally gets that."
He added: “If I was to get to the final I'd be honoured to duet with Barlow.
"I think that would be a television moment. It would definitely go down in history if me and 'Borelow' duet together, 100%."
The X Factor 2012 continues this Saturday on ITV1 and ITV1HD, with the final five acts sing two tracks each with Abba and Motown themes.
Sunday's results show will see one more act get the axe, and there will be performances from Rhianna, Tulisa and Bruno Mars.
