James Arthur has admitted he's looking forward to Motown week on the X Factor this Saturday night.
James found himself in the bottom two at the weekend in a shock result that saw Ella Henderson leave.
Speaking after the results show, James told the Xtra Factor: "I'm lost for words to be honest.
"It feels horrible to progress at the expense of Ella.
"I thought she was a potential winner of the competition, so I was not prepared for that.
"I thought I was a goner when I went up against her.
And James, who along with Ella was one of the favourites to win, gushed about the loss of the 16-year-old in the competition.
"Ella is the strongest 16-year-old I’ve ever met in my life," he said. "I just want to say to her that she has an extremely bright future and I love her to death."
This weekend will see James and the other five finalists take on two songs each as they cover both Motown hits and Abba's classics.
James said: "I’m going to have to come back and do better next week. It’s difficult after being in the bottom two.
"There are a lot of Motown songs that I want to sing, so I’m looking forward to it.
The X Factor 2012 continues this Saturday on ITV1 and ITV1HD, with the final five acts sing two tracks each with Abba and Motown themes.
Sunday's results show will see one more act get the axe, and there will be performances from Rhianna, Tulisa and Bruno Mars.
