Ella Henderson's shock elimination has come as one of the biggest upsets in X Factor history according to Ladbrokes.
Ella became the latest singer to leave the competition in this evening's shocking X Factor 2012 results after she fell into the bottom two with James Arthur.
The judges couldn't split the pair and sent the decision to deadlock, with Ella leaving having received the fewest public votes.
The former show favourite was 33/1 to go and such was the shock that the bookies make her 10/1 to be reinstated this year.
Survivor James Arthur is the new second favourite for the show at 5/2 leaving Jahmene an odds-on shot to win at 8/11
Despite being favourites to leave Christopher Maloney's odds of victory have been cut to just 6/1 while Rylan is 25/1.
The show is also just 5/1 to be cancelled before the end of next year.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: "This was one of the biggest TV betting upsets of all time. Jahmene was the big winner and he's now in pole position for X Factor glory."
He added: "The purists will be leading a campaign to bring back Ella. Sadly for her the odds suggest the show is more likely to be cancelled."
The X Factor 2012 continues next Saturday and Sunday on ITV1 and ITV1HD.
As well as the latest performances from the acts, there will be performances from Rhianna, Tulisa and Bruno Mars.
