X Factor 2012 judge Nicole Scherzinger is reportedly feeling the pressure over the show's ratings.
With viewers fleeing the show, Nicole worries that it could mean she and the other judges could be axed next year.
It would certainly be another tough exit for Nicole, who was booted out of the US series after only one series last autumn.
"As the show's newcomer it is probably getting to Nicole the most. She is jittery and on edge and has said the pressure is getting too much," a source told Star magazine recently.
They claimed: "Simon's not pleased and, as the new judge, Nicole feels she has to keep up her game considering the fate of the past judges like Kelly Rowland and Cheryl Cole who were both dropped."
Despite the falling ratings since the latest panel shake up, it sounds as though Nicole's spot on the line up is safe.
It was recently reported that Gary Barlow and Tulisa could both be axed, with Nicole apparently impressing Simon.
A source told The Sun at the weekend: “It is fair to say that Simon and the production team have been thrilled with Nicole’s performance. She has been absolutely great.
“Simon is a huge fan of hers and the production team think she has been a revelation.
“There won’t be any decision on the make-up of the 2013 panel until next year but she has certainly made a good impression.
“Simon is really up for her coming back.”
The X Factor 2012 continues this weekend on ITV1 and ITV1HD with the final four acts singing songs that they hope will get them into the final.
On Sunday's results show, one more act get the axe and there will be performances from Pink and Tulisa.
