Former X Factor winner Leona Lewis has revealed she's a surprise fan of Rylan Clark.
The Bleeding Love hitmaker has been one of the most successful acts from the series, and reckons that the show needs novelty performers as well as serious singers.
Leona said: "I think that The X Factor s a TV show that's always going to try to have some kind of entertainment element.
"But with Rylan he actually has a good voice. When it comes own to it he can actually sing."
Leona, who released her third studio album last month, suggested that the show's growth since her series in 2007 had also harmed it.
"It's been a few years since my series and I think that it's definitely become a bigger show - there's more production to it, which looks amazing," she said.
However Leona continued: "But I think if I had the choice, I'd change the auditions back to when there was no live audience and viewers could kind of feel it a bit more."
In an interview with Star magazine, Leona also revealed her favourite judge on the show was Gary Barlow!
The former guest judge said: "I actually find his bluntness to be really funny. I'm always interested to hear what he's got to say and you need that side of the show."
The X Factor continues with its live shows this weekend with a guilty pleasures theme.
Sunday's results show will feature performances from Alicia Keys and Olly Murs, as well as one more act being given the boot.
