X Factor 2012 judges: Louis Walsh wants Gary Barlow replaced!

X Factor judge Louis Walsh wants a 'new Simon Cowell' to replace Gary Barlow!

The Irish music mogul has been pretty vocal about wanting Simon Cowell back on the panel to boost ratings, but conceded it was unlikely to happen.

Louis, who claimed this week he was the only judge 'safe' from the axe next year, said he was expecting a big shake up of the panel.

There's been plenty of rumours about who could join and go, with Cheryl Cole, Dannii Minogue, Sharon Obsourne and even Kylie Minogue being linked to the role over the past week alone.

Louis however has his own ideas.

"It would be fantastic if [Simon] did join the judging panel again, but Simon can only be in one place at a time," Louis said. "He's already working on Britain's Got Talent and US X Factor, so we'd have to clone him to get him back."

He suggested: "Maybe we should do that and get a younger, prettier version of him with a better hair cut."

Frankly, we reckon Nicole is a much younger, prettier version of Simon Cowell, with a much better hair cut!

Speaking about the US judge, who joined the show from the American X Factor this year, Louis said: "Nicole's beautiful and gorgeous, even without make up.

"She's a very professional judge and I love all her Americanisms."

And Louis revealed that Tulisa and Nicole had been getting on better than any other female judges over the years.

Having been on the show since the first series, Louis would know!

"They're getting on better than Tulisa and Kelly did," Louis said. "But there will always be competition between girls because they want the best clothes and highest heals."
