X Factor 2012 star Jahmene Douglas has been gushing about his mentor Nicole Scherzinger.
The singing sensation revealed he's become inspired by the US singer, who Jahmene describes as his "big sister".
"Nicole is incredible, she just inspires me," the 21-year-old said.
Jahmene, who has been taking Nicole's words of wisdom such as to "grow some balls" on board, raved: "I couldn't ask for a better mentor. She is like my big sister now."
The weekend saw booing from the audience as Chris Maloney survived, while Rylan Clark has been getting some tough criticism from Gary Barlow for staying in the competition.
But Jahmene was getting splinters in his bum when quizzed on his feeling about whether or not the right people have gone... or stayed.
He said diplomatically: "It is sad when someone goes, but it's not my place to comment about the result.
"Everyone in this competition deserves to be here and everyone works very hard every week."
The X Factor continues with its live shows this weekend with a guilty pleasures theme.
Sunday's results show will feature performances from Alicia Keys and Olly Murs, as well as one more act being given the boot.
