One Direction will release their own 3D movie next year, it's been revealed.
The boys are set to team up with director Morgan Spurlock for the big screen show, which will follow their arena tour in the new year.
The X Factor stars confirmed the plans for a film yesterday whilst attracting a record breaking crowd for their performance on the US's Today Show.
The film, which will follow similar popstar films such as Justin Bieber's 'Never Say Never' and Katy Perry's 'Part of Me', will open in cinemas on August 30, 2013.
Director Morgan Spurlock, famous for his documentary 'Super Size Me', said: "This is an incredible opportunity and an amazing moment in time for the band.
"To capture this journey and share it with audiences around the world will be an epic undertaking that I am proud to be a part of."
It'll be just another event for One Direction in what is set to be a hectic twelve months.
As well as releasing their new album across the world this week, the group are set to play more than 100 gigs in almost 20 countries over the next eight months.
The boys, who performed on The X Factor UK on Saturday, will start their first headlining arena tour in the UK in February.
