X Factor's Rylan Clark reckons he's won over Gary Barlow, even if the Take That star branded his singing diabolical at the weekend.
Speaking to the official ITV1 X Factor website this week, Rylan claimed that Gary was secretly a huge fan.
"I love Barlow! He’s the dog’s whatsits. I like how he’s slowly thawing out and embracing ‘Rylan Style.’," Rylan said.
The Essex performer continued: "It feels as though we’re in the midst of a twisted love affair; admittedly it’s more Fatal Attraction than Romeo and Juliet, but we are getting there.
"I tell ya, that man just can’t decide whether he loves or loathes me."
23-year-old Rylan has showed no signs of stopping his outrageous performances, and explains: "He’s [Gary] beginning to understand what I’m about – I was knocked sideways when he complimented me after that Spice medley.
"I think Gary has finally caught on to the fact that I’m all about having fun and cheering people up on a Saturday night."
Rylan went on: "After the show, I’d love to hang out with Gary. I think we’d have a right bubble bath, (that's 'laugh,' in case you were wondering). I think we’d get on really well once we’re away from all the razzmatazz of the show."
He added: "It would also give me an opportunity to get my mitts on that blue blazer he wore to auditions. I’m so ‘avin that, babes!"
The X Factor continues with its live shows this weekend with a guilty pleasures theme.
Sunday's results show will feature performances from Alicia Keys and Olly Murs, as well as one more act being given the boot.
